The 10 Best Shows in Las Vegas 2026: Luna's Fall & Winter Guide
Cirque, Sphere, cabaret, magic and the headliners in town this November and December. Which show to book for your group and night, and the ones that have closed.
Luna is a virtual, AI-created host. This guide is researched from official show and resort websites and current Las Vegas entertainment reporting. Showtimes, dark days and prices change often, so confirm with the box office before you buy. Some links are affiliate links. Disclosure.

The best shows in Las Vegas in 2026 look different from a year ago. Cirque du Soleil closed Mad Apple at New York-New York in September. Awakening at Wynn ended its run on October 10. David Copperfield wrapped up his 25-year MGM Grand residency in April, and Postcard from Earth has finished at Sphere. Some shows have been running for decades, though. "O" is still at Bellagio and Absinthe is still filling its tent at Caesars Palace, while The Wizard of Oz at Sphere has become the most-talked-about ticket in town.
This guide ranks the ten shows I'd send a friend to this fall and winter. Each pick lists the resort, the usual schedule, the age rules, who it suits and how to book. Below that you'll find the headliners playing in November and December 2026, a closures box so you don't buy tickets for a show that has ended, and a plan for pairing a show with dinner and a late night. If the night is going to end at a club, you can request a VIP table here, and our hosts will reply with options that fit around your showtime.
- Best overall: "O" at Bellagio. It's the most beautiful show on the Strip, built on a stage made of water.
- Most talked-about: The Wizard of Oz at Sphere, which added new 4D effects on September 25, 2026.
- Best adults-only night: Absinthe at Caesars Palace (21+), with shows until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
- Best for big action: KÀ at MGM Grand, with its huge vertical battle on a moving stage.
- Best for music fans: Michael Jackson ONE at Mandalay Bay.
- Best headliner this season: the Eagles at Sphere (November 13 to December 12, then January 2027).
- Closed in 2026: Mad Apple (Sept 5), Awakening (Oct 10), David Copperfield at MGM Grand (April 30) and Postcard from Earth at Sphere.
How Luna Picked the Best Las Vegas Shows
A Vegas show is a big part of a trip budget, so "best" has to mean more than "famous." Every show on this list was checked against five things:
- Still running. Every pick is on sale for this fall and winter on its official site or current box-office calendars. Shows that have closed are in their own box, so you won't buy a ticket for one by mistake.
- The wow factor. Whether the show gives you something you can only see in Vegas: a water stage, a dome screen, a 90-foot vertical battlefield.
- Who it fits. Couples, bachelorettes, families, first-timers and repeat visitors want different things. Each pick says who it suits best.
- Schedule. Dark days matter. Plenty of trips have missed the show they wanted because it doesn't run on Tuesdays.
- Value. What a mid-priced seat gets you compared with the cheapest and most expensive seats.
Schedules and age rules come from the shows' own sites and the latest reporting, all listed at the end. I update this guide as the season changes. Join Luna's List to get new shows, closings and on-sale dates by email.

"Pick the show first and the night second. Every big show in town has dark days, and the night you're free might be one of them. Check the schedule before you book dinner."
The 10 Best Shows in Las Vegas Right Now
"O" by Cirque du Soleil
Bellagio · Center Strip"O" is the show I'd recommend to almost anyone seeing one Vegas production. The name is the French word for water (eau), and the stage is a pool: Cirque says it's 25 feet deep, holds 1.5 million gallons and takes 130 technicians and 14 scuba divers to run each performance. Acrobats dive from the rigging, swimmers rise out of the water and the floor turns solid ground into a lake in seconds. It looks unlike anything else on the Strip.
It runs 90 minutes with no intermission, and the minimum age is 5. Cirque's published schedule is Wednesday to Sunday at 6:30 and 9 p.m., dark Monday and Tuesday. At the time of writing, Cirque's own site listed tickets from about $125 before taxes and fees. It's the priciest Cirque show in town, and the price reflects the production. Make it a full Bellagio evening: the fountains run every 15 minutes after 8 p.m., and our romantic restaurants guide covers the best tables in the building.
The Wizard of Oz at Sphere
Sphere · behind The VenetianThe 1939 film was reworked for Sphere's wraparound screen, and it became the building's breakout hit. Seats shake, wind blows through the bowl when the tornado arrives, and the frame spreads far beyond the original picture. On September 25, 2026, Sphere added new and expanded 4D effects, including animatronic Winged Monkeys, themed scents, "Glinda Glitter," pyrotechnics and scented apples.
Sphere runs several showtimes a day, often starting at 11 a.m. or 2 p.m., and tickets are on sale into early 2027. That makes it one of the easiest big shows to fit into a trip, because an afternoon slot leaves your evening free. Prices change with the time slot, so compare a few. For the best view of the dome, mid-level seats beat the front rows.
Absinthe
Caesars Palace · Center StripAbsinthe has spent more than 15 years as the Strip's favorite adults-only show, and it still sells out its 620-seat spiegeltent (German for "mirror tent"). The acrobatics are world-class and performed a few feet from your face. Between acts, the host, The Gazillionaire, tells jokes that would get him fired from any other job. Expect it to be raunchy, loud and very funny, and expect to be close enough to be part of the show.
It's 21 and over only and runs about 80 minutes with no intermission. Spiegelworld lists shows Sunday to Thursday at 7 and 9 p.m., with an extra 11 p.m. show on Fridays and Saturdays. The tent sits in the Green Fairy Garden on the Roman Plaza at Caesars Palace, across from Hell's Kitchen. Doors open 15 to 20 minutes before showtime, so get there in time for a drink in the garden first.
KÀ by Cirque du Soleil
MGM Grand · South StripKÀ is Cirque's action movie. It tells the story of royal twins separated by war, without spoken words, on a stage that lifts, tilts and spins until the cast is fighting on a near-vertical wall. Martial arts, fire and aerial work are performed to music played live by the band at every show. If someone in your group thinks Cirque is "too artsy," this is the show that changes their mind.
It runs 90 minutes without intermission. Children under 3 aren't admitted, and guests under 18 must be with an adult. Cirque's published schedule is Monday, Tuesday and Friday at 6 and 8:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday at 4:30 and 7 p.m. KÀ is dark on Wednesdays and Thursdays, so plan around it. Cirque's site listed tickets from about $69 before taxes and fees at the time of writing, which makes it one of the better-value big productions. Tickets are already on sale for 2027.

Michael Jackson ONE
Mandalay Bay · South StripONE is the Cirque show for people who mostly want great music. Michael Jackson's catalog plays through a theater-wide sound system, and dancers and acrobats turn songs like "Smooth Criminal" and "Billie Jean" into full production numbers. It's the most concert-like of the Cirque shows and the easiest one to enjoy if acrobatics aren't your thing.
The show runs 90 minutes without intermission. Children under 5 aren't admitted, and under-16s need an adult. Cirque's published schedule is Thursday to Monday at 6:30 and 9 p.m., dark Tuesday and Wednesday. Cirque's site listed tickets from about $99 before taxes and fees at the time of writing. Phones and small cameras are allowed, but no flash and no filming. Stay at Mandalay Bay, Luxor or Delano and the show is a short walk from your room.
Mystère by Cirque du Soleil
Treasure Island · Center StripMystère is the original Las Vegas Cirque show. It opened in 1993 and it's still one of the most charming. It's a colorful, slightly surreal mix of acrobatics, clowning and live music. A stunning trampoline sequence and a playful baby character keep both kids and adults hooked. For many visitors it's the best first Cirque experience because it isn't as heavy as KÀ and isn't as expensive as "O."
It runs 90 minutes without intermission and uses strobe lighting, fog and loud noises. Cirque's published schedule is Tuesday to Saturday at 6:30 and 9 p.m., dark Sunday and Monday. Cirque's site listed tickets from about $77 before taxes and fees at the time of writing, which makes it the best-value Cirque show on the Strip. Treasure Island's location in the middle of the Strip makes it easy to fit into a night.

Atomic Saloon Show
The Venetian · Grand Canal ShoppesFrom the team behind Absinthe, Atomic Saloon Show is a Wild West variety show set in a bar. Madam Boozy Skunkton hosts a cast of cowboys, showgirls, outlaws and a band of misbehaving nuns, doing acrobatics, dance and comedy around a working saloon. It's dirtier than Absinthe in places and more of a party, which makes it a strong pick for birthdays and bachelorettes.
Spiegelworld lists shows on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m., and Wednesday and Thursday at 7:30 p.m. It's dark Sundays and Mondays. The venue is on Level 2 of the Grand Canal Shoppes, at the Waterfall Atrium. VIP booths for two to four guests come with Champagne or a spirits package, and the Cow Hide bar next door is open from 6 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday. Note that all sales are final, with no exchanges or refunds. It's an adults-oriented show, so check the age policy when you book.
Penn & Teller
Rio Hotel & Casino · just off the StripWith David Copperfield gone from MGM Grand, Penn & Teller are the magic act every visitor should see. They've headlined in Las Vegas for decades. Penn talks, Teller stays silent, and they mix big illusions with smart comedy and the occasional trick where they show you exactly how it's done and still fool you.
In July 2026, FOX5 reported that the duo extended their show at the Penn & Teller Theater inside the Rio for another three years. Shows run Thursday to Sunday at 8 p.m. The Rio is a short drive west of the Strip across I-15, so add rideshare time to your plans. Book through the Rio's site.

Magic Mike Live
SAHARA Las Vegas · North StripCreated by Channing Tatum, Magic Mike Live is the bachelorette classic. A charismatic host, a cast of dancers and plenty of audience interaction keep it fun rather than just cheesy. It's built for groups who want to scream, laugh and go out afterward.
It's 18+ with a valid photo ID. Current box-office calendars show shows at 7:30 p.m. most nights it runs, with a second 10 p.m. show on busy nights such as Thursday to Saturday. The run has been extended into 2028. Book premium seats if anyone in your group wants to be close to the action. SAHARA sits at the north end of the Strip, so plan an after-show stop at Fontainebleau or Resorts World next door.
The Eagles at Sphere
Sphere · behind The VenetianThe Eagles' "Live in Concert at Sphere" is the longest-running residency in the building's history. Classic songs played by a tight band under the world's most advanced screen make it the headline concert of the season. Recent reporting says this run may be one of the band's last, which helps explain the ticket demand.
The remaining 2026 dates are November 13, 14, 27 and 28, and December 4, 5, 11 and 12. January 2027 dates follow on the 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 22nd and 23rd. TicketNews reported tickets starting at $175 for the newly added January 8 and 9 shows, which go on general sale October 30 at 10 a.m. PT through Ticketmaster. The December dates fall on National Finals Rodeo weekends, so book your hotel early.
Headliners in Las Vegas: November and December 2026
Residencies come in short blocks with dark weeks in between, so the dates decide the trip. These are the biggest names on current box-office calendars for the rest of the year. Always confirm on the venue's site, because dates can be added or moved.

|---|---|---|
| Metallica | Sphere | Nov 5 & 7 (back Jan 28, 2027) |
| Tim McGraw | The Colosseum, Caesars Palace | Nov 4, 6 & 7 |

| Barry Manilow | Westgate International Theater | November weekends; "A Very Barry Christmas" Dec 3–19 |
| Donny Osmond | Harrah's Showroom | Tue–Sat 7:30pm, blocks through Nov 14 and Dec 1–12 |
| LISA ("Viva La Lisa") | The Colosseum, Caesars Palace | Nov 13, 14, 27 & 28 (more dates added) |
| Eagles | Sphere | Nov 13–14, 27–28; Dec 4–5, 11–12 |
| Marc Anthony | BleauLive Theater, Fontainebleau | Nov 20 & 21 (F1 weekend) |
| Thomas Rhett | The Colosseum, Caesars Palace | Dec 10 & 12 (rodeo week) |
| Jeezy | PH Live, Planet Hollywood | Dec 18–20, 30 & 31 (final dates) |
| Backstreet Boys | Sphere | New Year's run incl. Dec 31, Jan 1 & 2 |
LISA's "Viva La Lisa" is billed by Caesars as the first Las Vegas residency by a K-pop artist, and it's the most in-demand new booking of the fall. The Backstreet Boys play their "Into the Millennium" show at Sphere for New Year's, a second straight NYE there. If you're coming for F1 week, our Las Vegas Grand Prix guide covers the Backstreet Boys F1 Afterparty, road closures and where to stay.

"For a residency, book a midweek night inside the block. It's the same show as Saturday, it's often cheaper, and the hotel won't charge you weekend rates either."
Which Vegas Show Is Right for Your Group?
| If you are… | Book | Why |
|---|---|---|
| A couple on date night | "O" or Absinthe | "O" for romance, Absinthe for laughs (21+) |
| A bachelorette group | Magic Mike Live or Atomic Saloon Show | Built for loud groups, with VIP booth options |
| A family with kids | The Wizard of Oz at Sphere or Mystère | Daytime shows and broad appeal |
| First-time visitors | "O" + The Wizard of Oz at Sphere | The two "only in Vegas" experiences |
| Repeat visitors | Penn & Teller or KÀ | Sharp comedy-magic or Cirque at its most intense |
| Music fans | Michael Jackson ONE or an Eagles/Metallica Sphere night | Big sound, big catalog |
| On a budget | Mystère or KÀ | Lowest Cirque starting prices on the official site |
Show Schedules at a Glance: Who Is Dark When?
Dark days are what wreck show plans most often. This is the published weekly pattern for the big productions:
| Show | Plays | Dark |
|---|---|---|
| "O" (Bellagio) | Wed–Sun | Mon, Tue |
| Mystère (Treasure Island) | Tue–Sat | Sun, Mon |
| KÀ (MGM Grand) | Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun | Wed, Thu |
| Michael Jackson ONE (Mandalay Bay) | Thu–Mon | Tue, Wed |
| Absinthe (Caesars Palace) | Nightly | None listed |
| Atomic Saloon Show (Venetian) | Tue–Sat | Sun, Mon |
| Penn & Teller (Rio) | Thu–Sun | Mon–Wed |
| The Wizard of Oz (Sphere) | Most days, several times daily | Check calendar |
The handy takeaway: on a Tuesday, you can see KÀ, Mystère, Absinthe or Atomic Saloon, but not "O" or ONE. On a Wednesday or Thursday, KÀ is dark. On Sunday or Monday, Mystère and Atomic Saloon are dark. Holidays and special events can change all of this, so check your date before you buy.
How to Get the Best Seats Without Overpaying
- Start with the official box office. Cirque, Spiegelworld, Sphere and the resorts sell direct, and resale prices for hot shows often sit above face value even when primary seats are still available.
- Compare showtimes. The early and late shows on the same night often have different prices, and Sphere prices change by time slot.
- Middle beats front. For Cirque and Sphere, center seats a third of the way back usually give the best view. For Absinthe, every seat is close.
- Know what "from" means. Advertised starting prices usually leave out taxes and fees. Check the final total before you pay.
- Book big nights early. F1 week (Nov 19–21), Thanksgiving weekend, the rodeo weekends (Dec 4–5 and 11–12) and New Year's Eve sell out first. Our cheapest time to visit guide shows which weeks spike hotel prices.
- Watch the refund rules. Many Vegas show tickets are non-refundable. Atomic Saloon Show, for example, doesn't offer exchanges or refunds.

Plan the Perfect Show Night in Vegas
A great show night is about timing. Here's the sequence that works:
- Book the early show (around 6:30 or 7 p.m.) if you want a late night out afterward, or the later show if dinner is the main event.
- Eat in the same resort. Dinner at Bellagio before "O" or at MGM Grand before KÀ means no rideshare line. Our best steakhouses list has picks near most of the big theaters.
- Arrive 30 minutes early. Big theaters seat quickly, and late seating can mean waiting for a gap in the show.
- Plan the after-show. A hidden bar is a perfect follow-up: see our best speakeasies guide. If the group wants to dance, request a VIP table and our hosts will work around your showtime.
